$4 Million Coop Sold on West End Ave. by Estate of Children’s Author

Clebourne Coop ApartmentsA cooperative apartment in the Clebourne at 924 West End Avenue between 105th and 106th Streets just sold for over $4 million.

The estate of the award-winning children’s author Madeleine L’Engle Franklin, author of “A Wrinkle in Time.” sold the apartment that she owned for approximately forty-seven years.

The Upper West Side co-op was bought by two physicians, Dr. Catherine Sibyl Magid and Dr. Michael Alexander Diefenbach.

Dr. Diefenbach is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology & Oncological Sciences at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Magid trained as a hematologist and oncologist
